The food and service here are excellent, I enjoyed my curry chicken so much, I will be going back for more. The patties were on indicate too! It was definitely authentic food, the staff said the cooks were from the islands, I gauge that's why it was so tasty😋

I've been to Jamaica several times and this is as shut to the taste that I plant in Jamaica as I've plant in any United states Jamaican eating house. Had a spicy beef pie and the jerk chicken meal. Could non believe the amount of food I got for less than $thirteen.50 plus tax. Aureate Krust has a wide variety of foods similar ox tails, curried caprine animal, red snapper and rice and beans and plantains. The large plate is two meals in i. The desserts are very good . The rum cake is tasty. My fav drink is the pineapple ginger juice.

Drove ane-hour to Durham, NC to get oxtails, beefiness patties and coco-bread; so happy to know there's a Golden Krust in the expanse. It's worth the bulldoze!!!!

They have vegan across patties & veggie patties which are soooo expert! They take some fourth dimension to be fabricated fresh but it's well worth the wait 😋 & there fresh herbal juices/teas are succulent🥤 my partner enjoyed the vegetable plate , simply me not to much. Dad enjoyed his wiggle chicken plate. But definitely will be dorsum to endeavor new things. (Im pescatarian)

I love the goat but the prices have gotten a little high and then I don't visit as much. $25 for a large plate and then they try to pack it downwardly with rice! No cheers!

I take been a customer of this identify for ten yrs. I accept seen the same staff since that time . They are just lovely people . A business organisation speaks volume when y'all know their staff do not go out . Their nutrient and client service is wonderful . The Golden Krust isn't cheap but you lot get what you lot pay for. I pay $25 for a large oxtail meal and eat off of that one plate 4x'due south easily. This equates to $6.25 per plate. They are friendly and always customer oriented. They NEVER disappoint!

Every dish I swallow is delicious. The staff are friendly and very outgoing. The restaurant has been recently busy. Overall amazing nutrient, fresh made beverages, and succulent desserts! Highly recommend!!

The food was alright had alot of bones in my oxtails show them my plate give me more with no problem servers take the time to explain the nutrient for me very nice atmosphere was wonderful everybody friendly my only complaints the nutrient price was high for food I become will eat their again but won't become out my way to eat there

As e'er, I was thoroughly impressed with the taste of my gild. The Curry Goat was tenderly cooked to perfection and the cabbage, rice, and plantains complemented information technology with every bite. By far my favorite item purchased was their "Pineapple Ginger" juice!!! I need it on retail shelves ASAP. My coworker picked upwardly food for me today after smelling someone else's dejeuner in the office. I ordered 2x mild beef patties, the curry chicken lunch special and a side of plantains. The lunch special came with rice, veggies and i plantain. Withal I love plantains and snack on them during the day. So first things first. I devoured the beef patties. There were and so expert and the crust was flakey. Oh perfect! I tasted the other items and they were all delicious. However I was full from the patties so the residuum of the nutrient will be my dinner for tonight.Since my food was delivered to me I would like to check the actual eating place out.

My husband picked up food for me. I don't know who is in the Kitchen but you all have to do ameliorate!Please make clean the chicken properly. Take liver looking stuff out the crevices of the chicken. I was and so mad when I saw that stuff remained attached. I have no idea what you did to the jerk sauce. Gustation similar I threw hot sauce inna it to doc information technology up No man this cyann work. In that location are lots of people here from yard and you cant fool us. The oxtails are good....but since I have started to find more "Jamaican" mode restaurants, I experience equally though they are overpriced. I spent $57 on 3 plates (jerk craven, curry craven and oxtails) again, no complaint on the oxtails only everything else was a "NO" for me. The cabbage was ok... plantains were difficult....the chicken was PINK and the rum block was nasty. Oh, the chicken pattie was not really what I had before...it was ok though. Overall, simply an ok for me just def won't be my outset thought to return here.

Had the stew chicken and it was very fresh and succulent. I was looking at the server crazy because she kept stacking 😂 more chicken on my plate this was my first fourth dimension so I wasn't expecting that much food but I'm definitely not complaining. Most consistent Jamaican food in the Durham surface area. Oxtail is good!! I order here when I really need nutrient from home. Patties are okay- aught like Tastee only are decent! 8/x would recommend!

I've tried this location on several occasions and the jerk seasoning is more sweet than spicy and information technology doesn't taste like the authentic jerk chicken from the island. The portions are small especially when they have ox tails. I adopt other authentic Jamaican restaurants to this location.
